remove_object  {object_list | id_list=<comma/hyphen separated list>}

The remove_object keyword is used to permanently remove selected objects from the model. Objects may be identified either with their progressive number (using the object_list parameter) or with their original ID number (using the id_list parameter), which does not vary following deletion of some objects from the dataset.

#this command removes objects 1,4,5,6,7,12,21,23,24,25,26 from the dataset currently loaded in Open3DGRID
remove_object  object_list=1,4,5-7,12,21,23-26

# this command removes objects having ID 2,7,9,13 from the dataset; the difference with respect to using object_list is that following deletion object numbers change, since objects are simply renumbered in progressive order not to leave any gaps between them, while IDs are preserved with respect to the original object numbering, before any deletion was carried out
remove_object  id_list=2,7,9,13
