zero

SYNOPSIS

zero  level=<zeroing threshold>  \
    [sign={POS | NEG | BOTH; defaults to BOTH}]  \
    [field_list=<comma/hyphen separated list | ALL; defaults to ALL>]

DESCRIPTION

The zero keyword is used to set to zero, in the fields selected in field_list, all values smaller than a user-defined threshold. Zeroing may be performed checking absolute values (sign=BOTH, the default) or may affect only positive (sign=POS) or negative (sign=NEG) values.

EXAMPLES

# the following command sets to zero all grid points which have a value smaller than 0.05 in absolute value in all fields
zero  type=BOTH  level=0.05

# the following command sets to zero all grid points which have a negative value lying between -0.25 and 0.00 in field 1
zero  type=NEG  field_list=1  level=0.25
